Back by popular demand: Beginning watercolor workshop inspired by the work of artist Tony Foster. Thursday, November 8, 6:00pm - 9:00pm Ticket price includes painting materials to be taken home with you to continue your watercolor journeys. Register for this beginning watercolor painting workshop at The Foster in Palo Alto with science illustrator Mattias Lanas. We will spend the evening observing artist-explorer Tony Foster's paintings, paying special attention to the artist's methodology. Then we will delve into the fundamentals of watercolor painting, covering basic terminology associated with the medium, practicing techniques, and working on our own pieces drawing inspiration from natural history objects.
