Good food, good service, convenient location
This restaurant is across one street from the Mountain View movie theaters, and across another street from the Computing Museum and Tesla Superchargers. We came in for a birthday dinner and then went to a movie. The service was quick and attentive. My dish (Mediterranean Sea Bass) was great. Some of the others in my party thought what they got was so-so. The room is nicely done, very pleasant

Substitutions Extra Charge
My niece and I chose this restaurant a) for proximity to Shoreline Amphitheater and b) because we wanted Italian food. Based on those, we made a good choice. We did enjoyed our meal very much, but she asked to substitute "any type of pasta"for the mashed potatoes that came with her Chicken Marsala and was told there would be a charge for the substitution. We found that off-putting in a restaurant that serves different pastas eith many of their dishes. Our server, James, was very attentive and pleasant and deserves kudos. Her Chicken Marsala and my Braised Beef Short Ribs were delicious

Pretty Good for a Strip Mall Location
This is a pretty nice restaurant with good ambiance. It's location tucked away at the back of a small strip mall and across the parking lot from a 7-11 does not give you a great first impression, particularly after circling the general area for a few cycles to find a park space. Once inside the restaurant had a pretty traditional Italian restaurant decor which was well kept, and afforded ample space been tables. Service was very good with timely appearances rather than hovering. Wines by the glass seemed expensive (but I am only a visitor to the area and may not have an appreciation of wine matters) but there was an extensive wine list - both by the glass and by the bottle. (By the way it was the first time I have seen A $125 glass of wine.) We had calamari, Caesar Salad and flat bread pizza for dinner. All were very good. There were a lot of other offerings which sounded pretty good. I would like to return some day and delve deeper into the Menu

Great food, excellent service, difficult parking.
When you walk in for lunch next to a Starbucks you are surprised to find yourself in an impressive, multi-room restaurant with a Maitre D' and formal setup. Looks more like a spot for intimate dinners and serious business meetings - which is pretty much what this restaurant is al about. For lunch Silicon Valley style casual dress is ok, but I would definitely dress more formally for dinner (at least nice slacks and blazer or suit, dressy pants suit, or simple cocktail dress.) The food is excellent, well prepared and wine pairings are available. The wait staff are attentive but not intrusive. Seating and table placement are conducive to conversation and long, drawn out meals. However, the prices for lunch are more like dinner prices - and you do get what you pay for, definitely, but it can be a surprise since basically you are eating in a tiny strip mall with a busy, cramped parking lot. It's obvious that many who come here are from the nearby offices and office parks. Because parking is difficult and the restaurant is more suited to a dinner time atmosphere, even at lunch, I'm not likely to come back, as we neither live nor work near here. However, if you are visiting a nearby business, theater or museum you might appreciate the short walk to a nearby, upscale Italian restaurant
